A Kurume kasuri weaving company founded in 1898 (Meiji 31) and based in Hirokawa Town, Fukuoka. Unlike many others, it handles pattern design and dyeing in-house, enabling flexible textile development tailored to customer needs and achieving precise, high-quality craftsmanship. It also possesses advanced capabilities such as tate-yoko kasuri (double ikat), demonstrating a high level of technical expertise as a traditional, orthodox weaving house.
Offering a wide range of designs from classic patterns to contemporary colors and motifs, the company introduces 50–80 new colors and patterns each year, striving to balance tradition and innovation. With a strong emphasis on fabric quality, it continues to pass on the appeal of Kurume kasuri to future generations.

We place the highest value on preserving the essence of Kurume kasuri—its precise patterns and reliable quality. By carefully engaging in every step, from design and dyeing to weaving, we create patterns at the yarn level, producing kasuri that is consistent, refined, and beautiful.
At the same time, while building on techniques passed down over generations, we continue to challenge ourselves with new colors and patterns suited to the times. Taking full responsibility for the quality of our textiles, we aim to deliver materials that users can trust, and to carry the value of Kurume kasuri forward to the next generation.
